SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

Serve as a leading AWS expert in data analytics, big data, and business intelligence systems that are relied upon by Trek10 and its clients. Guide and supervise advanced cloud projects with a focus on data analytics. Augment and design support systems and response procedures and coordinate hand-off to Cloud Operations (CloudOps) Support Engineers for Data projects. Assist with designing, estimating, planning, and implementing data frameworks and solutions. Participate in cross-functional implementation teams to deliver data solutions to clients. Assist with pre-sales efforts for potential data analytics opportunities. Contribute to internal IP and open-source development in data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field.
  2. Three (3) years of experience with Amazon Web Services and code-defined infrastructure.
  3. Three (3) years of programming experience utilizing Python for data analytics, which may have been gained as part of or in addition to the AWS and code-defined infrastructure experience.
  4. Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Data Analytics Specialty, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, and AWS Database Specialty
  5. Additional experience must include:
  • Programming utilizing SQL for data analytics
  • Building business intelligence tools in Quicksight and Tableau
  • Performing MAP assessments in AWS
  • Working in data and ML projects with clients in retail, airline transportation software
  • development and education sectors
  • Business intelligence solutions using Amazon Quicksight and AWS Athena
  • ETL tools including Stitch, Snowflake and AWS Redshift
  • AWS data analytics patterns with services including AWS Lambda, Glue, and Athena
  • Data migration patterns with services including DMS, Glue, Data , and Pipeline
  • Database solutions including MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle
  • AWS IoT analytics patterns with services including AWS IoT, AppSync (GraphQL),
  • DynamoDB and SQS
  • CRM tools, including Salesforce
  • Pre-Sales architecture for data analytics frameworks
